2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Booking a call (via Calendly): your name, email address, the time you choose, your time zone, and anything you type into the booking form — including the lead build (market, products, funding range, criteria, exclusions and notes) if you used the lead builder before booking.
- Requesting a sample record: your work email address.
- Contacting us by email or phone: whatever you choose to share.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data: pages viewed, interactions (clicks, scrolling, form use), referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, screen size, and — where session replay is enabled in our analytics tool — a recording of your interactions with the page. Text you type is masked in replays.
- Identifiers stored in cookies and similar technologies, described in section 7.
- Advertising measurement data: if you arrive from or later interact with our advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), Meta’s pixel records your visit, booking-related actions and its own identifiers (
_fbp,_fbc).
3. How we use it
- To schedule, prepare for and hold the call you booked, and to follow up on it.
- To send you the sample record you asked for.
- To price, propose and deliver our services to your business, and to manage that relationship.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it, including running A/B tests of page content.
- To measure and improve our advertising: we tell Meta when a booking is made so that we can see which campaigns lead to calls and optimise them. This includes sending Meta a hashed version of the email address and name used for the booking (see section 5).
- To keep the website and our systems secure, and to comply with legal obligations.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis (for example the UK or EU GDPR), we rely on: performance of a contract or steps before one (bookings, proposals); our legitimate interests in running and improving the website, understanding our audience and measuring advertising, balanced against your rights; consent where we ask for it; and legal obligation.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it with providers that process it on our behalf:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Calendly | Booking calls; stores booking details and sends confirmations | United States |
| Netlify | Hosting the website; storing sample-record requests submitted through the site | United States (global CDN) |
| PostHog | Website analytics, session replay and A/B testing | European Union (Frankfurt) |
| Meta Platforms | Advertising measurement (pixel and Conversions API) | United States / Ireland |
| Slack | Internal notification to our team when a call is booked or a sample is requested | United States |
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or restructuring of the business.
5. Advertising measurement with Meta
When you book a call, we send Meta a “Schedule” event from your browser (via the Meta pixel) and from our server (via Meta’s Conversions API). The server event contains the booking email address and name in hashed (SHA-256) form, the pixel identifiers _fbp and _fbc where available, and the page the booking came from. Meta uses this to attribute the booking to its advertising and to build audiences for us; Meta acts as an independent controller for its own use of that data under its Privacy Policy. You can control how Meta uses data from partners in your Meta ad preferences.
6. International transfers
We operate from the United States and the United Kingdom and use providers in the United States and the EU, so your data may be transferred to countries other than your own. Where a transfer is subject to UK or EU data-protection law we rely on adequacy decisions, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses / UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or the EU-US and UK-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and browser storage for analytics, A/B testing and advertising measurement. They are set when you first load the site.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
lgp_did | Lucky Growth Partners | A random visitor id used to keep A/B test variants consistent and to join analytics events | 1 year |
lgp_exp | Lucky Growth Partners | Which A/B test variants you have been assigned | 1 year |
ph_*_posthog | PostHog | Analytics: recognises your browser between visits and sessions | 1 year |
_fbp, _fbc | Meta | Advertising measurement: identifies your browser and the ad click that brought you here | 90 days |
Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website keeps working without them. To stop Meta measurement, block third-party cookies, adjust your Meta ad preferences, or use a content blocker. If you would like us to disable analytics and advertising measurement for you, email hello@luckygrowthpartners.com and we will explain the options available.
8. How long we keep it
- Booking and enquiry details: for as long as we are in contact with your business and up to 3 years after our last interaction, unless a contract requires longer.
- Sample-record requests: up to 2 years.
- Analytics data: PostHog retains event data for 12 months by default; session replays for 30 days.
- Advertising measurement data held by Meta is governed by Meta’s own retention rules.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, withdraw consent, and — for residents of certain US states — opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal data for targeted advertising and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@luckygrowthpartners.com. We may need to verify your identity first. If you are in the UK or EU you can also complain to your data-protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
10. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to people who need it, and our providers are chosen for their own security practices. No system is completely secure; if you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately.
11. Children
This website is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
12. Changes to this notice
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use data you have already given us will be notified to you directly where we can.
